Pennsylvanians Together is a campaign working to ensure that all Pennsylvanians can thrive—not just survive. For too long, we’ve let politicians, who serve the interests of corporations, and the rich divide us based on what we look like, where we come from, where we worship, how much money we have or whether we are native-born or immigrants. By dividing us, they have given us public policies that do too little to help most Pennsylvanians while making the rich and corporations even wealthier.

Our Eight Principles

  1. A fair return on work: Create a living wage, strengthen unions, and help local businesses.

  2. Equal education for all: Fund pre-K, K-12, and higher education as well as training at all levels to prepare our children and young adults for the future.

  3. Access to life’s necessities: Provide health care, senior care, and child care to all, as well as quality and affordable housing.

  4. Our basic rights: Defending and expanding our voting, civil, and reproductive health rights.

  5. The environment: Environmental safeguards for clean air and water and eliminating climate change’s threat.

  6. Public safety: We endorse strategies based on research into practices that reduce crime, incarceration rates, and abuse by the police.

  7. Fair taxes: Make the rich and corporations pay their fair share and cut taxes for working people.

  8. Our rights and democracy: Every voice must be heard and every vote counted.
