Why We Should Raise the Minimum Wage in PA to $15 Per Hour – 2025 Update

A $15 minimum wage would raise wages for 460,00 workers directly and 405,600 indirectly. Both would see an average wage increase of $2,000 per year, according to Keystone Research Center.   

Raising the minimum wage dignifies the work of adults who head families and would create new jobs. Every state around Pennsylvania has raised its minimum wage, and Pennsylvanians support raising it here as well.
